Like the PRO today in a press release announced that the GEMA broke off along with eight other societies, the negotiations with YouTube. For over a year it was negotiating with on the Internet portal. Now, hundreds of videos was required from Youtube to banish. According to the reports they intend to place a sign: "Music has its value"
A statement of the GEMA CEO was on MySpace released. The complete press release can be found this .
Here is a really groovy "chapel", the last year I was allowed on a workshop at the FWL studios meet in Leipzig.
I've just started my StudiVZ found:
The day before the election, we dare the great pose. We invite you to the biggest Flashmob the election year. So we put together with the ambassadors of democracy and studiVZ / meinVZ a creative characters for more voter participation in Germany. In the middle of Berlin . In the middle of the Bebelplatz .
We stay in Berlin during a busy day stand still for three minutes, and think to make it clear that voting is an important thing to go. For each of us. Especially in Germany.
In this freeze participate is easy.
When? Saturday 26 September, by 12 clock
Where? On the Bebelplatz in Berlin
Everyone can be there. Together, as part of a large group of (post-) thinkers.
As a quasi-parties concerned it is very much in my interest that this knowledge and the opinions of the video coming to the people.
On the topic itself, I am somewhat divided on. However, I must finally give the artists quite. It's not that you should get any money for his work. What the final effect is it then.
This is not a matter that the artist is a fortune earned from his works (the days are gone), but the people (citizens) want to even be entertained. However, devours the "production" of this conversation has a large share of the revenue (due to production costs). At the small silver disc (CD) or MP3 file, a yard long tail hangs rates of people who are necessary for its production. These people all work for this course and want to get paid for it.
I think that is a loss of revenue is a threat to / the "little man / woman" in the production chain. Or how you see it?
Comments are welcome! A funny video about payment practices.
Unfortunately, this is now the rule rather than the exception.
